Earth Day Network Philippines, Inc. - The 10 Million Movement

Earth Day Network Philippines, Inc. (EDNPI)  is the Secretariat of Earth Day Network Philippines, an Action and Advocacy Network of more than 2,000 government agencies, NGO's, PO's, academic institutions, businesses, churches and local government units advocating environmental citizenship through "individual yet collective action". As a Secretariat, EDNPI handles the communication and networking activities of the partners and members in the advocacy in general and the celebration of Earth Day every April 22 in particular.

The 10 Million Movement is an advocacy campaign of EDNPI to get Filipinos who care for the environment to commit to take action. In line with this campaign, EDNPI is in need of 10 project-based encoders for at least one (1) month & can be extended for another month . On the subject line, type “Attention: Executive Director re Application (Encoder)”.  Applications shall be accepted until July 30, 2010. High School, Vocational/College Level Individuals  are welcome to apply.

Encoders
(10 project-based positions)

Tasks/Responsibilities:
-         Accurately and efficiently encodes information from the 10 Million Movement sign-up sheets.
-         Meet and accomplish daily quota of sheets to be encoded.
Required Qualifications:
·  High School, Vocational or College Level
·  Proficient with Microsoft Applications preferably Microsoft Excel
·  Can type at least 40-50 words per minute
·  Must be results oriented and have the ability to effectively prioritize workflow
·  Has initiative and can work with minimal supervision
·  Able to work efficiently to meet deadlines and to render additional hours as needed.
·  High standards of ethics and integrity
